Bell's Super helmet was a hit, but only partially suited the rider's needs.
With more riders riding to the top of the hill at Enduro races and on epic weekend rides, there was an unmet need for adaptability and increased protection.

On the Super 2R I worked with the engineering team to come up with a unique, tool-free removable chinbar. We modified the original Super to accept the chinbar, and created a light weight, full coverage mountain bike helmet with a fully functional, wrap around chinbar that can be added or removed within seconds.
Athlete input and rider feedback was key in refining the details, and the final result is a helmet that created an new industry standard.
