Giro Rift Helmet - This is a mid price point helmet (retailing for around $50). This design was done at a time when the Giro design language was changing to have a more edgy, updated feel.

Early clay work... but it's not really working out.
The FIRST full size 1/2 model. I thought I was finished... but after a marketing review, the team decided that while it looked great, it was too similar to another helmet. So I had to redo the whole thing...!
The approved final direction. Bondo/Urethane model.
This model is completely drafted for tooling, and all the parting lines worked out by hand.
Final design was scanned, and is being machined. This model was then cleaned up, hand finished, and shipped to the factory.
