The project's fundraising goal was to help the Science Museum of Minnesota's capital campaign to raise $41.5 million from private individuals, foundations and corporations to build a new museum on the Mississippi riverfront.

The result was a successful completion of the largest capital campaign in the museum's 97-year history. 85% of all regional donors to the capital campaign have continued on to the annual fund or project donors.
