Slide is a coffee table design inspired by children’s sliding puzzle games and the need to organize the many items always left out. The top is constructed from Ash plywood and acrylic tiles that slide against one another to create custom storage spaces and reveal hidden compartments. Slide is constructed from an ash veneered plywood body, mild steel base, and white acrylic tiles.
