Ideal Standard Live Project
During my second year at Uni I took part in a live project with the tap and bathroom manufacturer Ideal Standard. We were asked to design a new type of tap for the British market that would bring something fresh and different to their product lines. The brief emphasised the need for European inspired design that was affordable but also intuitive and easy to use. My design put a dual lever system, familiar to British users, into a single lever form more like taps seen on the European market.
