Birdhouse from the Bluebird Haven line. I wanted to be sure the factory didn't stick a tin roof on this, or use toxic glues that would seep out over time resulting in mutant bluebirds. I researched my design to create something that would be both cute and charming, as well as a viable functional home for bluebirds. You can see these considerations in the design notes.

Mom is Wow spelled upside down. I had a picture of Robin Williams as Mrs. Doubtfire in the picture-frame when I presented this, but they asked me to take it out.

The Positive Thoughts Jar. I came up with this as a "value-added" product. It's a ceramic jar containing 365 positive thoughts printed on cardstock. You pull one out at random every day, and there's a notch in the lid for display. I originally envisioned the jar as a lot more funky and hippie looking, earthy clay with colorful over-glazes, but ultimately had to fit the product to a more conservative market. This went on to become a top seller.
