Due to the success of this card at Walmart and other retailers American Greetings invested in additional runs with more special process/cost of goods and requested I design a second version differentiated by new hand lettering, color palette and different special processes to be sold concurrently at Targets nationwide.
This card was so successful at Walmart and other retailers that American Greetings invested in additional runs for subsequent years with more special process. They also requested I design a second version for Target stores to be sold concurrently. Per American Greetings' request I designed new hand lettering and applied an alternate color palette and different special processes to differentiate the Target version.
