A Year For the Monarchs
I've spent years growing a suitable environment to encourage wild Monarch Butterflies to breed, live, & grow. This past year, I used a cell phone, to see if I could document the entire life cycle. Along the way, I developed cell phone photography skills, designing within the simple format and obtaining delightfully clear, surprisingly colorful and brilliant images. The other bugs and butterflies are an added bonus! In the final image, milkweed seeds ensure the cycle continues. Enjoy. All images ©Luann Houser.
