My painting is bigger than I am and looking lovely in the park. 3D element of red ribbon blows in the wind.
Final piece in the park!
Final painting ready to go to the park.
In progress...those balloons look a little heavy. Glad I reworked them.

Mural - Art in the Park 2021

4'x6' mural I painted about recovery - specifically related to mental health.

My original poem was also a part of the painting.

My piece is titled "Mind Control". Please observe and interpret from it what you are led to conclude. The piece was designed to attract a younger studious and gamers to the conversation of mental health.

In honor of May being mental health awareness month, I created a piece to contribute to Art in the Park as a Creative Crossing artist. Our work was commissioned by Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (Kern BHRS).

Every one who participated painted on their own 4'x6' canvas that was displayed in the park. Art pieces will be displayed at various mental health clinics following the show.

This was the 1st Art in the Park from Kern BHRS as a response to the indoor limitations restricted by the Coronavirus pandemic. However, this allowed for a more widely accessible way for artists to tell the story of mental health from various perspectives.
