Independent Study, Chassis Design + RC Design

Exploring my passion for quality radio-controlled cars & trucks, I organized an independent study project (ISP) at RISD for 1/10 scale chassis & suspension design. I had already made a few random parts for kits I owned (skid plates, box hitches, etc.) In the ISP I developed a plan from concept, start to finish with set deadlines, process of execution, collaboration with designers + engineers in the industry, compatibility with parts from an existing company and the ability to use leaf suspension, 3 link suspension and 4 link suspension. I created CAD templates to follow while bending the chassis frame rails and a milling machine for crossmembers. The end results: completed objectives and my introduction into project management.
