The objective is to create a hypothetical retail design concept for a sister store to the peppermint brand. The store will be showcasing and selling Tanvi Asher's bridal line: Asher Bridal. Asher's first clothing store, peppermint, is located on Park Avenue in Rochester, New York, where she opened in April 2012. The bridal salon will be located at 27 W. Main Street in Honeoye Falls, NY. Tanvi launched the bridal line to the public on March 30, 2014. 27 W. Main Street is an ideal location for a bridal salon since Honeoye Falls is an affluent area. This will provide Asher Bridal with an upper-class clientele, who are able to afford her exquisite custom-made gowns. The wedding business is a mini-conglomerate, so a strategic business move would be to work with flower shops, jewelry stores, and bakeries in the area. This would benefit multiple businesses and encourage foot traffic through the town on a more regular basis. The current building has great potential for a retail store.
