QIUB: Rethinking the Spice Cap
As the Principal Tolerance, FDM & Prototype Engineer for the QIUB project, I led the physical development of the volumetric dosing system. My work focused on rapid FDM iteration to validate the complex internal mechanisms, including the Archimedes screw and the unidirectional ratchet. I defined critical geometric tolerances to guarantee a flawless 120º rotational fit and precise powder dispensing, ensuring a seamless transition from CAD to a functional, production-ready prototype.
