Bernhardt Furniture Company provides fine wood and upholstered furniture products in the United States, Canada, and some International Countries. Bernhardt’s showroom will be a 5,000 sq. ft. that will showcase their commercial furniture and commercial textiles. The core of the space will be dedicated to displays. It is very important to have various display areas within this showroom while maintaining great circulation. The furniture will be treated as pieces of artwork that clients would “study”. The workstations within the showroom will be private and will not be open to the public. Other spaces located in this showroom are storage rooms and a coffee bar for the employees as well as the clients. Color will play a huge part in this space. The overall feel will be calming with white, light blues and creams to allow the furniture and textiles to stand out. This color palette fits with the constant change of the furniture and textiles.
