Alpha - Battery Power Tools

A collection of concept images for an oversea manufacture: The driving ideology behind this set was to create a battery that showed a greater sense of value and power. Most current batteries are somewhat boring looking rectangular boxes, even sometimes getting hidden inside the product. They represent a large portion of the cost however and are the source of the tool's power. I noted that gas powered tools with an engine always look stronger and more valuable.. even though they can actually be cheaper! This battery concept is intended to replace the gas engine and look like the center of power on the tool, like a fuel cell that is a key part of the exterior look of the product. The X shape actually helps to spread the cells into an efficient cooling configuration and the heat sinks can be appropriately placed to spread heat on the sides as well as through the core.
