Wedding rings
Designed a ring for my hot wife! I did an extensive amount of research into material thicknesses and setting gems with prongs first. Then I used Shapeways.com to 3D print wax and have it cast in bronze for prototypes. I attempted to set a stone myself after watching a bunch of youtube videos and found it was a little easier said than done. A local jeweler evaluated my prototypes for me and then set the stone into the final print when I had it cast in gold. Absolutely could not believe it when I saw the final result, amazing, looks just like the CAD.
