6061 Alluminum Mechanical Pencil

We tend to think of the mechanical pencil as a throwaway item as soon as the lead or rubber has ran out. I wanted to change that and make a well-engineered, robust pencil that would stand up to being on a engineers table. I started with a 8 inch piece of material that is commonly used for the construction of aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselages and engineered a mechanical pencil from it that will last you a life time. I hope to have the pencil in production this summer, so please stay tuned.
