The Singularity (n): a time in the near future in which artificial intelligence will match our own human intelligence. The pervasiveness of technology in our society is increasing at a more than rapid rate; we are creating and innovating faster than we can comprehend with no cognizant regard to the consequences of our actions. Today rather than feeling and posting, we must post in order to feel. We have entered a technological paradox in which we are more able than ever to speak our mind to the world, yet are silenced by our fear of judgment and reality. This film speaks to the degradation of human conversation, featuring imagery of binary code, a language only computers understand. We are manufacturing our own censorship and dehumanization, a process too far gone to be reversed, represented only by the phrase, "The End."
