16th & Willow 2015 - West Oakland
The setting sits within the industrial area of West Oakland, undesired and wasteful for a local dumpsite. Graffiti was a natural visitor but the street were bear. The opportunity came across to display a new art work with architectural influences that will welcome new expression to the abandoned community, a glimpse of new modern with a touch of industrial, foreign but recognizable. Drawn with the idea of corrugated metal, a continuous wrap and transfer from facade to facade. The moment came with such surprise as the sisters captured the reflections of the skies from dusk to dawn, representing new beginnings.

Recently the Willow Houses premiered as extras on a 2018 Movie called Blindspotting.
