Apartment in Old Riga
The style of this interior was defined by the customers as the modern classics. They wanted to see rather traditional interior, which does not contradict the building’s architecture, in the apartment located in the very heart of the Old Town. At the same time they wanted to forget about heaviness of the classics and excessive pathos. That is why the basis of interior is rather strongly attracted by the classics – this is symmetry in furniture arrangement, oak parquet floor, paneled doors, skirting boards and cornices. However, with the help of furniture, decors and color design, the interior acquires easiness and airiness, which is so typical for the Baltic style.
