The current market doesn’t use the process effectively. Theses cuffs are all cast whether they want to look forged, machined, laminated or bent.
We decided to look at jewelry specifically for the manufacturing technique. We took three unique production methods and made a handsome form for each.
We found three production methods: cold formed wire, cast for efficiency, cast for fine details.
Bending from standard stock makes a minimal cuff at a tiny cost.
Building a flat plane into the form and sculpting the rest makes removing the sprues easy and cheap.
Casting can make lots of details and texture. Let’s utilize that advantage.
