A Soldiers Story - Magazine cover spread featuring Geronimo Jijaga Pratt, a major figurehead in the Black panthers organization during the 60's. A story of his childhood, the turbulent sixties and his time spent in prison. The concept was to capture the raw emotions of this panthers sturggle in the face of death, and sorrow.
The Stream of Life - Visual interpretation of a poem by Tagore. Experimental typography was employed to evoke the feeling of joy, wonder and energy that Tagore believed resided within man and nature.
Program Guide for Rabindranath Tagore - A ficitonal poetry reading and program guide was created for Rabindranath Tagore, one of India's greatest poet's.The design concept of the program guide had to be kept simple, but elegant as to portray the quiet strength in Tagore's simple prayers on affirming life.
Personal Identity - A reflection of my style and taste. A project like this allows the designer to let do whatever they want. Its also a diffcult project because you really have to come to terms with why you design, and where you want to fit within the design landscape as far as your own visual language.
