First round of concept sketches presented to client while practicing contour line drawings, call-outs, and shading with Prisma color markers. Research was then conducted to help narrow focus of target audience needs and wants.
Additional research conducted on how a specific target audience attribute (Arthritis) affects product use.

Student Flashlight Project

This was a project that I did in my first semester of college at Cincinnati State. This project took place during my Introduction to Industrial Design Technology course. I designed a flashlight to meet needs and wants of a certain target audience after meeting with a client. This project's purpose was to get a feel for the process of presenting a product for a specific customer to be manufactured.
After sketching initial flashlight concepts, research was done in order to narrow the focus of what the target audience (client) wanted. Three updated concepts were then drawn and presented to client. After discussing with the client, more updated concept drawings were then presented once more. When the client was happy with product, the finalized concept was then constructed in SolidWorks and rendered for a final presentation.
