Photoshop Ideation rendering
This project is for an Electrically powered Norton motorcycle. The design is focussed on re-introducing the classic lines of the iconic 1950's Manx Norton Racing bikes that dominated the Isle of Man TT races in the day. Norton has recently changed ownership, and this is the perfect opportunity to revive the icon in a modern way May 2021

Electric Cafe Racer Ideation Sketches

These sketches and Alias Proportion models are a first look at introducing Electric bikes to the Norton brand.
The first model was an idea to have an entry - level motorcycle in the Cafe Racer guise.
The subsequent work in progress is taking this idea forward with an Aircraft fuselage type structure and retaining Classic Norton form languages from the post war Race bikes.
Whilst I have explored another version that has a more mechanical component feel.
The third option is an electric layout exploring the V Twin aesthetic, with the body structure forming the V shape arranged around the motor.
The Alias model was made to confirm the dimensions and a final Alias model is work in progress. ( The Barry Sheene rendering design is being developed onto data for Rapid Prototype development in the near future with a supplier in a joint -venture capacity.
Norton were not involved in this project at the time of sharing this information.
