R/C Tugboat "Amsterdam" - This boat I constructed from a preformed hull and plan. The materials used, sheet ply some balsa planking brass fittings that I turned on a lathe many premade eyelets and thread for the riggings. The machanical layout was premade parts that I layed out for optimal prefomance. This boat sold on E Bay.
Tiger Tank Model - This model was constructed from sheet styrene all parts were cut from a plan I created from a cad drawing. The track was prefabricated. The drive wheels were turned on a lathe and the spocket was cut from a templete and glued together. The other wheels and gun barrel were also turned on a lathe. The flash supressor was milled out of styrene plastic. Finish is airbrushed in authentic WWII German colors.
Spawn Sculpt - This project I did as a kleen clay sculpt that was about the same dimentions as the original toy. I moulded the sculpture then cast it in a solid urathane figure. I took this project on a personal challange to see how close I could come to the original texture and color of the McFarlane Spawn toy. So how did I do?
Doll House Fireplace - This model is constructed of 1/32 inch ply and the field stone was carved out of balsa foam. The stone pieces were then hot glued to the plywood base and the motar joints were formed from a small tube of bathroom chalk. The balsa foam was then airbrushed to represent a fieldstone finish then I added the soot accent.
Freddy Krueger Sculpt - This sculpt was my favorite to do. It is made of Roma Plastiline over my head cast. This was a school project that was supposed to be a Holloween mask but I didnt get a chance to make the rubber mask, ran out of time. But I kept my sculpt. I like it.
