Catharsis
This collection of bags is inspired by the element water. The way it can shape shift in form and in the way that we use it. Water is used in spiritual and religious spaces to cleanse, renew, and restore one's body, aura, and soul.
This collection is titled "Catharsis" -the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions- because as water is spiritually art is cathartic for many people including myself. I hope to show this feeling physically through the shapes, textures, and silhouettes of these bags.
