EVENT COORDINATION & TV PUBLICITY - THE TUMBLER TOURS

Warner Brothers toured the stunning vehicles created by Christopher Nolan’s design team for the Dark Knight films in 2008 and again in 2012. Each tour featured the "Bat Pod" motorcycle and the Bat Mobile, or "Tumbler". My team worked with KTVI-TV Fox 2 In the Morning each time to alert viewers of the tour’s presence at Webster Days Fair (2008) and at Busch Stadium (2012). Attendees at the 2008 fair got a rare treat: the crew chief was forced to drive the imposing Bat Mobile onto the fair grounds, as the modified trailer used to transport the vehicles was not able to maneuver onto the muddy fair grounds. Even without movie sound design, the huge car sounding basically like a tractor, it sped along a park road at 40 mph before slowly pulling into the cordoned off area we prepared. At the 2012 Cardinals pre-game event fans had the chance to get photos taken with the Batpod, the Batmobile and members of the St. Louis Cardinals.
