Clamper originated from a picture seen on a business/financial website, where a clock is being crushed by a G clamp, squeezing time and suggesting that there is not enough of it in a day. Clamper is playful fusion of both. The clock face is weighted at the bottom and can rotated so that the vertical axis (that runs though 12 and 6) is always perpendicular to the ground.
