Jansport Modular Pack System sketch(Pen and Marker on Sketch) - Just a few of tons of quick sketches completed for a short four week sponsored studio project for Jansport Backpacks. The end result was a fully adjustable shoulder strap system that worked in conjunction with multiple "sacs" of different volumes depending on the load to be carried.
Luxury Car(Marker, Pastel, and Pencil on Vellum) - This is just a little something that I did way back when I was a freshman. A quick sideview to demonstrate form and reflection for a Visual Communications class.
Figure Drawing Samples - From the "get-go" it was made very apparent that in order to be a truly successful designer, you have to know how to draw the human figure. If you can do that, everything else falls into place. After studying the figure in school, drawing it became one of my favorite disciplines. Remember, it's fun to draw.
DeK(Acrilic on Canvas) - A tribute to my favorite artists, the abstract expressionists. During my junior year at CCS, despite all that was going on, I pushed myself to complete a self directed fine arts project of 8 to 10 large pieces including this one in responce to artists such as Jackson Pollock, Willem DeKooning, and Frans Kline. Sometimes you have get away and get a little dirty.
Polaris Formula1(1/8 Scale Model) - The Polaris Formula Racing sled was designed for a specific demographic - Generation X. Its function and styling were a direct result and response to the intensity of the generation that spawned the X-Games and WinterX. Imagine taking this monster out on a frozen lake or other closed circuit flat course and opening her up. With a race car-like driver position a full roll cage and V-Twin powerplant, I've taken Formula1 racing off the concrete and onto the ice. Stay tuned for the video game!
