Various Packaging & POP Designs
Smorkin Labbit Packaging - I did this for Packaging and POP Design class. The assignment was to create a card-stock/chip board package for a small product. I chose Kid Robot's Smorkin Labbit and decided to to a no-blind package. I had several non-chip board designs I really liked, but because they didn't meet the design parameters of the project, they remain just sketches.
Gobi Bicycle Saddle Packaging - I did this for Packaging and POP Design class. The assignment was to create a vacuum-formed styrene and chip board package that could hang or stand alone. I chose Fizik's Gobi mountain bike saddle. The graphics and package shape feature a mountain to indicate the saddle's use and distinguish it from Fizik's road saddles. A brass grommette provides added integrity to the package and a strong point from which to hang the saddle.
Davines Point of Purchase Display - I did this for Packaging and POP Design class. The assignment was to create a counter-top POP display. This display for Davines is meant to be made from recycled, up-cycled and/or sustainable materials. It's clean and simple, yet bold. I designed it to look good in any salon and work with any of Davines' many product lines. Multiple layers of material and their translucency create ever-changing texture, light refraction and cast shadow for interest.
