PAL Group Project
Our first week group project. We were asked to design a product that was do with vision, sound or both.
We designed a musical instrument for hearing impaired children aged 6-7 year old.
The musical instrument uses vibrations as we found out that "the perception of the musical vibrations by the Deaf is likely every bit as real as the equivalent sounds, since they are ultimately processed in the same part of the brain” (WebMD).
The products has 5 aluminium pipes which produces different frequency of vibration. The hearing impaired children can enjoy learning and making musical vibration.
