Design Concept: Walk of Rembrance.
-5 points of light are symbolic of the Boroughs that comprise NYC. Emanating from a central core of serenity are its neighbors ( LI, Ct, NJ)- a vitality force that reaches into limitless boundaries ( the US, the World). This outward spiral emits an energy force of which the fundamentals of humanity are built. I chose to imbed the "Remembered 3022" in cobblestones that outline the spiral paths, alphabetical order ,in groups of 3 (4), so that no one person lays alone, no one person becomes less important than the next....
Program requirements: victims names, contemplation area, family area, unidentified remains, footprints Tower 1 and Tower 2.

World Trade Center Memorial Contest
Like most native New Yorker's...I took it personally when the World Trade Center was hit and freedom as we knew it usurped.
This contest inspired me to go to Design School and work toward obtaining the foundations of becoming a great Designer (specially because I had no clue as to what an axon (program requirement)) was.
