This illustration contains a sentiment that can be applied to a myriad of the tragedies and injustices that still exist in our world today, but it was created in a response to the state of the world in June 2020 — specifically in response to the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement due to even more unjust black deaths, and the Coronavirus pandemic.
