Space around the family home can be a big issue; people don’t have enough space for their belongings so they are often placed onto overcrowded shelving. This shelving, although practical in terms of space, does not display objects to their best. While there are areas of overcrowded shelving, there are also areas of organization, spaces around the home where ornaments have been placed to create a desired aesthetic. While these areas display the objects well, the objects themselves are not moved, their function is to look nice.
There seems to be a gap between these two extremes around the home. Objects often used do not seem to be displayed well. This is where the project shall focus.
Create a piece of furniture for a family home to be used by multiple members of the family, to aid in displaying certain everyday items.
