WINTER
My collection, Winter, draws inspiration from Gothic Victorian styles, fantasy elements that symbolize decay, transformation, and danger - like vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc. I decided to utilize a dark color scheme with high-contrast accents. For the silhouettes, I looked to emphasize the human anatomy, while utilizing dramatic and flowing silhouettes. I also looked to incorporate floral motifs with a shape similar to wolfsbane and begonia, which symbolize danger.
