Initial manufacturing concept - no plasma - due to limitations in production technichs and material constraints. the actual first prototyped concept was more along the lines of this unit.
Initial manufacturing concept - no plasma
Initial manufacturing concept - no plasma - even the lightbox on top of this unit along with it's almost single piece body was changed completely for a unit that had more steel and less design quality

third concept - This unit was then a follow on from the previous unit where i tried to get rid of the large amounts of steel and also include a 32 inch plasma as well as keep a focussed and designed aesthetic. the magazine racks were required by the client and were only requested almost at the end of this development
third concept
third concept - In this render you can see the detail of the amount of steel that was removed
Newer concept with space for 32 inch plasma - This was the final concept, It was broken down into to units. a full unit that contained the 32 inch screen and a unit that did not. the nly unit that was manufactured was the full size one and only one of them. I feel that if our company had worked more closely with the client company we would have been able to achieve a much better model and been able to build something that was alot friendlier and more inviting to use.
including a bay for the slip/ coupon printer
Here the forward graphics have been replaced by magazine shelves
variations on the form, keeping in mind that the computer still has to fit
plasma included was the final agreed concept.
