Heinz Can - D&AD Corus Steel Packaging Design Awards 2005
Our brief was to create contemporary steel packaging for the re-launch of Heinz's 'Good Food Everyday' soups. As well as improving on the ergonomics of the traditional cylindrical can, this new triangular design has increased shelf presence, is easy to open, peel and pour, is stackable (both on the shelf and when empty), space saving and 100% recyclable. (Designed with Pete Woodhouse, Designer)
Plop - Personal Project - Egg Cup
The goal of this project was to explore wit and humour within product design. In this example the egg cup is shaped like a flying saucer and the egg itself creates 'waves' on the surface. These waves are designed to playfully capture the runny yoke.
Qb - 'Qb' is a salt and pepper pot which is based on a rubik cube. It is designed to be intuitive to use and easy to refill. There is also scope to split the cube four ways and add extra condiments.
Weetabix Bowl - Personal Project - Weetabix Bowl
This product was born out of frustration. Being a regular Weetabix eater I have always found it frustrating that you can never fit more than one Weetabix comfortably into a bowl. More often than not you find yourself breaking one in half, tragic. The solution: the Weetabix bowl - fun and functional.
