Packaging for perfume is often an eccentric attempt to grab the attention of the consumer prior to them sampling the product itself, in many cases this can be the leading factor to closing a sale, however, as people become more aware of marketing strategies and the psychology behind packaging the more dishonest a company may appear. The Verite Prevaut packaging design relies on honesty to capture the loyalty of the customer offering a detachable item of jewellery which gives part of this package a unique reusable value. The concept of the bottle initially came from the growing demand for vintage minimalistic items and makes the connection to the feeling of wonder and imagination by looking similar to a bottle of potion such as the one in Alice In Wonderland.
