Auckland Council Sponsored Studio at Auckland University of Technology. Auckland Council was in search of new concepts to increase social and community activity in the Dominion Road neighborhood at night in Auckland, New Zealand. The Luminous Street Furniture concept draws in a crowd with its approachable and interactive design to make Dominion Road become a more safe, social, and inclusive environment. The concept was well received by Auckland Council because of the versatile design and ability to be scaled to fit specific needs throughout the city.
