Outdoor Cafe Furniture
The brief for this project was to design some outdoor cafe furniture that was suitable for UK weather condiditons.
In order to create a successful product, extensive research was done into what current UK cafes and major coffee shop brands use, why they use them and what the main features they look for when buying furniture for this environment.
Some of the main points gathered from people working with the furniture was, that it needed to be lightweight due to the employees having to bring them in at the end of a shift, weather resistant, easy to clean and easy to stack due to storing them at the end of a shift.
