The concept was a bench for a hallway
My approach was to allow storage for shoes below and a soft cushion above
I always hated how cushions are fixed to worktops.
Hard to clean with glue and staples everywhere.
So I designed a bench that has toggles on the cushions to allow a little bit of movement on the cushion without ripping or damaging anything.
A tray below is a place for shoes to sit and live not dirtying the floor.
The side of the bench has a section for keys, phone, money etc to sit whilst you get yourself ready.
Its assembled at home without any tools needed. Just a few butterfly screws tightened by hand
