Train Storage Boxes: Bright, engaging storage boxes, based on the design of a classic steam train. Working wheels, and the option of adding additional carts, enables the train to become a fun toy itself whilst still being an effective storage solution.
Pen Pot: I was tasked with designing a pen pot inspired by a retro straw dispenser, whilst remaining in-keeping with GLTC's design style and colour scheme.
Dinosaur Bookshelf: Was tasked with designing a character bookshelf which required no hardware to assemble. This design consists of laser cut MDF pieces which slot together to form the finished product.

Caterpillar Shoe Rack This brief involved taking a simple design for an adjustable shoe rack and making it more child friendly. The caterpillar character is exciting for young children and encourages them to put their shoes on it as looks like it is wearing their shoes.

Play Table Graphic: I created a play scene for an upcoming play table product. The tabletop was able to be split into two parts so the scene had to work as a whole and separately. Adobe Illustrator software was used to create the graphic.

Various Designs, The Great Little Trading Company

Completed a week long placement in August 2013 with the Great Little Trading Company, a children's retailer based in south-west London.

I worked with their buying team on various project briefs ranging from graphic design to furniture design, considering their house style, cost, materials available and the manufacturing capabilities of their suppliers.

All designs belong to the Great Little Trading Company.
