Axess is an entertainment system designed to simultaneously simplify and enhance the television viewing experience. In doing so it unifies viewers in two basic ways:
1. eliminates any extraneous overlays, graphics, or advertisements from the television screen, leaving a pure, cinematic vieweing experience in which only the video content is delivered
2. replaces the traditional remote controller with ‘cells’: 9-inch capcitive screen tablets that function only with the Axess Entertainment System, delivering extra content, options, audio features, as well as gestural controls to viewers
