"Vitreus" (one of three designs from Inlumino, my senior apparel design collection) - This collection was inspired by stained glass church windows. Navy piping was sewn between numerous individual silk charmeuse panels to create a stained glass patchwork effect. Touches of gold represent the metallic gold paint often seen on the windows, while the white feathers and pleated tulle represent angel's wings and the clouds of heaven that are also frequently depicted in stained glass window church scenes.

"Rose" bridal gown - One of 10 wedding dress designs from my 2009 To Have and To Hold bridal gown collection, this design features a removable hidden zip-off tiered skirt so that the dress can be worn as either a full length or knee-length style. Each of the designs in this collection were developed after extensive consumer surveys, market research, and trend forecasting. Additionally, every dress had design elements that could adapt or be removed in order to give the bride two slightly different looks: one for the wedding and one for the reception.

"Michelle" bridal gown - The trumpet-style silk duchess satin and Alencon lace gown I designed and created for my own wedding. The lace overlay on the dress was painstakingly created by combining motifs from three different Alencon laces and sewing them by hand onto English netting fabric. A long line of bridal buttons trailed down the back seam to the edge of the train. Additionally, several vintage elements from special relatives were incorporated into the dress to make it more meaningful, such as a gold and ivory petticoat of my grandmother's and a rhinestone brooch from my great aunt.
