Display Case - Many popular classic vinyl record albums, loaned by State Fund employees, were on display while select songs from the different eras were played aloud for those who passed by to enjoy.
Wall of Fame - Vinyl singles and "gold" records featured captions from employees who contributed memories of the record-buying experience.
Jukebox - Week 1 was designated as "1955 through 1960s Week" for this three-week exhibit.
Vinyl Albums - Gatefold albums were popular during the era when vinyl was king. A signed "Fantastic Voyage" album from the R & B group Lakeside and Stevie Wonder's "Original Musiquarium 1" were among the many high-profile acts who marketed their hit albums in this manner.
Singles - Songs were sold individually in a format known as 'singles' - the larger size known as a 12-inch single while the smaller size was often referred to as a '45' due to the high speed (45 revolutions per minute) required to play them.
Disco Era - Disco played an important role from the mid-to-late '70s. During part of "1970s through 1984" week, the display case was outfitted with a psychedelic disco ball and a custom-made dance floor.
