We set out to redesign a chemical backpack sprayer in order to improve the ergonomic factors that made the standard backpack sprayer uncomfortable and potentially dangerous for the user. Through extensive research involving various stages of usability testing and market research we Identified the main problems and completely redesigned what a chemical sprayer should be.
