Day of Hope Letterpress Poster
The Day of Hope car show is a fund-raising event that benefits abused children. Inspired by the prior year’s best of show award winner, a ’67 Convertible Impala, the tagline “Nothing but blue skies ahead” conveys a sense of looking forward to a positive future, while also alluding to the experience of driving with the top down. 2-color letterpress printing on 110 lb. Cover Lettra premium paper was selected to enhance the nostalgic experience evoked by the event. Special thanks to The Mandate Press for graciously donating the printing for this worthy cause. These limited edition posters were presented as a minor trophy to attendees’ and sold to support the Salt Lake County Children’s Justice Center.
