These are the abstract symbols I came up with for all of the different bridge owners in the city. I chose the colors from the Cincinnati logo and decided to do line and shape studies to create the symbols.
This is a map that shows all the bridges in the area along with a few different graphs.
Here is a closer version of the illustrated map. I chose to use just gray for the fill and strokes would be different colors of the same shade as the symbols.
This Damage Inspection would be filled out after the engineer would inspect the bridges. This is one of four forms we had to design.

Information Graphics
I designed this project for a class I took called Information Graphics. We we're approached by the Cincinnati bridge engineering department with a project to create symbols for each bridge in Cincinnati. We were also to create just a layout for an informational website for them to use along with a poster and a few different forms.
