EveryGrip Screwdriver Handle - This project was to create a handle using the principles of universal design. I did two rounds of testing, used ten foam models, and did research on injuries and disabilities of the hand in order to reach this design. Rounded edges, square shape, grooves for grip, and a widthwise groove for the index finger or thumb allow this design to provide comfort for all users.
Grip Shape for EveryGrip Screwdriver - This is the grip shape of the human hand. As you can see, the basic shape is square. This is one of the many things that contributed to my final design being square in shape.
The Fusion - This is a blender I designed using the Rhinocerous modeling software. My idea was to create a blender that would stand out from what is currently on the market and breathe some excitement into a normally boring appliance. I tried to mimick the blending action in the shape of the base as well as make the controls easy to understand.
