Plant Vessel Plant Vessel from Stowe Hammarberg Plant Vessel A form study on creating something plastic and artificial in the context of containing the means of survival for living organisms. I wanted to create a form that would make sense as a home for the plants; as if they had grown out of the object naturally. My form was inspired by the process of erosion, particularly the effects of running water on rocks. I was also inspired by small islands surrounded by water. Not too artificial to contrast with the plants, but not too natural to contrast with the styrene construction. Process sample.
