Final Major Project
The Final Major Project is about reducing Car Accidents. The product is called RoadLink which is a device to monitor drivers who have been caught speeding, it monitors their speed, braking and G-forces much like a black-box. However, unlike a blackbox, RoadLink will give immediate feedback to the driver to any infringements that have occurred. Through positive reinforcement, the device will tell them to take certain actions in order to drive safer.
It uses an eye-tracking camera to ensure the driver is focused on the road ahead and an traffic sign recognition camera to monitor relevant hazards and signals of the road.
